MY APPROACH

How I Work

I am passionate about my work and believe strongly in the Mind/Body/Spirit connection and how it affects our lives. The healthier we are psychologically, the easier it is for us to make the necessary physical changes to move forward in our journey of good health.

 

Time is a precious commodity we do not get to push back and redo. There is no time like the present, and so I try to live my life passionately, honestly, and with wonder. Sessions are virtual and forty-five minutes in length.

 

My approach is varied depending on the situation and the goals that you have set for yourself. I am comfortable and skilled in working with a Behavioral Modification approach if there are specific behaviors or issues you are trying to stop or change. I am equally comfortable and experienced in engaging in Mind/Body wellness techniques, Crisis Intervention, and Existential Therapies if you’re looking to address issues of trauma or feeling lonely, anxious, depressed, or finding yourself in an unhealthy relationship. Historical issues like abuse or chronic/acute grief can often stifle our ability to move forward and make changes because we feel stuck and numb. No two people are alike, and each individual will respond to various combinations of different types of care.
